Arna and John are the creators of the COOLMAN! show, which is part of the FUNPAK series for NELVANA. In 2004 we completed five 5-minute original shorts for COOLMAN! which aired on YTV.

2005/6: Storyartist on MISS SPIDER; another Nelvana 3D show! Click here for the Scholastic Website. Click here for Nelvana's MISS SPIDER page. (full title) Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, a Nelvana/Absolute Pictures co-production, airs on Nickelodeon in the US and TELETOON in Canada. Lots of care has gone into this one. My husband John is one of the scriptwriters! Directed by Lynn Reist and Neil Affleck.


2005/6/7:
Storyartist on a nifty television series 6TEEN. Produced by Nelvana, created by Fresh Animation. Directed by Karen Lessmann.


2004/05:
Storyartist on SKYLAND, a new SCI FI motion capture series developed by METHOD FILMS in France and 9STORY ENTERTAINMENT in Toronto for FRANCE 2. Click here to see one of my Skyland sequences that I edited in Flash.


2004:
Storyboard artist on a CGI feature sequence for C.O.R.E Digital Pictures in Toronto.



2004: Co-Creator and Director, COOLMAN!.


2003: Director of BACK TO SCHOOL WITH FRANKLIN, a 45 minute direct-to-DVD special scripted by John van Bruggen.


2003: Storyartist on PEEP AND THE BIG WIDE WORLD, for 9STORY ENTERTAINMENT and WGBH EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION. Directed by Rick Marshall. PEEP was created by Kai Pindall.


2002: Storyartist on CLONE HIGH. (Clone High's US MTV Site) Arna completed 5 boards on this primetime series for MTV, sharing each 22 minute show with Paul Bouchard, another fine storyboard artist.


2000/01: A.D. and LEICA director for FRANKLIN AND THE GREEN KNIGHT and FRANKLIN'S MAGIC CHRISTMAS, based on the little green turtle from KID'S CAN PRESS. Both FRANKLIN specials were directed by John van Bruggen.


1998: Storyartist on RETURN TO NEVERLAND, the sequel to PETER PAN, developed and boarded at DISNEY CANADA in 1998. Directed by Robin Budd.


Storyartist on THE KING'S BEARD an animated feature film written and directed by Tony Collingwood for COLLINGWOOD O'HARE, London, UK.


Storyartist on BEETLEJUICE, DOG CITY, and BOB AND MARGARET, Alison Snowden and David Fine's humourous prime time animated television series based on the BOB'S BIRTHDAY characters.



Director of Seasons Two and Three of LITTLE BEAR, the children's animated series based on the books by Elsa Holmelund Minarek and Maurice Sendak. Co-director and story editor for Season Two was Ray Jafelice. Ray was original director on Season One. LITTLE BEAR Season Two won a GEMINI AWARD in Canada in the category of Best Children's Program or Series.


Director of the very first CARE BEARS MOVIE. A blockbuster hit, it won a GOLDEN REEL AWARD for the highest grossing Canadian film in 1986.


Senior storyboard superviser on the original EWOKS AND DROIDS ADVENTURE HOUR animated television series.


Senior storyboard superviser on the original 65 half-hours of the INSPECTOR GADGET animated television series.
